This is my first Ukulele. I’d never held one until now but have always been keen to learn the instrument. Where better to start than a custom-built electro-acoustic Uke in a Tenor size (26 inches). It’s fitted with a tie-bar bridge with under-saddle pickup and a preamp with tone, volume and onboard tuner.
The star is a burr oak veneer with the rest of the body in Sapele, oiled with several coats of danish oil and polished to a smooth finish. Really proud of how this came out.
