A pair of talking spirit levels constructed using Arduino microcontrollers and the MPU6050 3-axis accelerometer. Though different in size, the construction and components of the two levels are virtually identical. A full build blog can be found Here.
The software is freely available for download. Version 1 is the initial release and implements the features described in the build blog above. It is available for download below.
Version 2 of the software, released October 2020, fixes many bugs and adds EEPROM permanent storage for the settings. It can be downloaded Here.
Version 2.5 of the software is the last release to use the Talkie speech library, and switches to an MPU6050 library to greatly simplify the code and improve measurement accuracy. More details Here.
